I was reading funmi iyandas blog, i mean i totally respect her and everything but while i was reading her blog the words of my aunt tolu kept running through my mind.... "why the HECK are nigerians too verbose"...lol i dint understand it until i read funmi iyanda's blog...JEEEZZZZZ, i mean what the hell...lol every nigerian
novelist, writer as well as messages sent by all these yahooyahoo pple contain big grammar..ahnahn its not necessary!!! i mean I am not exagerrating, check out funmi iyanda's blog http://fiyanda.blogspot.com/ every sentence has at least one word that really does not need to be there. I mean there are atimes you can use "big grammar" to describe situations, thats allowed but most times its best to Keep It Simple (KIS). Enuff of that said anyways.
I was looking at a naija wedding website and i saw that the chief bridesmaid was looking better than the bride, i wish i could upload the picture...wedding tip, never ever let ur bridesmaid look better than you, you are the woman of the day. Its all about you, but that doesnt mean that ur bridesmaids shud look harggard too.
Another tip, never use ur wedding day as a testing ground, make sure ur hairstyle is sumthing you are used too and that it suits you. Also, for those who tan or want to do any quick minute surgery make sure u have it done like 6months or even a yr before your wedding day.
Also, My friends and I where in an argument about nigerians neeeding a tan, i said naijas need serious tanning to balance or even out our skin. I also suggested that we need alot of sunscreen lotion or sumthing cos of our sun. What do you think?
Onto the grammy's for those who missed it. It was held in California on the 10th of febuary and most of the performances were of the chains.....Kanye West killed his performance, he murdered the stage, i was so impressed, he almost made me cry. Another person who performed well was rihanna and "the time". Beyonce and tina turner...beyonce tryin to outdo tina turner...lol ill beef now...lol but the performance was hottt...am totally in love with Rihanna's new look, i mean shes a trend setter in hairstyles. And yeah, when rihanna was receviing her award...lol it was funny, the way she grabbed jayz to come to the stage with her was sexy, if i was beyonce mehn...lol and her speech was also funny cos jay z was the translator for like a couple of seconds.
Did not really like Nelly furtados new look,i mean what was up with the female celebrities this year?? i thought most of their styles were not grammy enough. I totally did not like beyonces look, I think she looked like she was meant to be on the skating rink...my twin thinks she looked startrekkish-jetson like...lol..ooh well...as for the guys, i think most of them looked very very sharp, the likes of sEAL, Jayz, snoop, daughtry, just to mention a few.
The beatles where honored, most of the members and their wives where present apart from Paul Macartney who was dealing with courtcase.
Congratulations to Amy Wine house, Justin Timbalake, Kanye west, AAlicia kEYS,FOo fighter, micheal buble, Maroon five, Herbie Hancock, Josh Groban, Jiill Scott, Carrie Underwood, Beastie Boyz, Gerad Levert, just to mention a few.
FYI: My daRLING paris HILTON'S birthday is coming, and im going to dedicate a whole page and day to her,, her birthday is on the 17th of this month, btw she directed and acted in a movie which sold horribly. luv you still...muah

OK theres now a Howard University African Conference, the first ever at Howard University, kuudos to Ozioma Obiaka, he doesnt know this but i secretly look up to him, i think he is a very determined person and i would really like to work with him, kudos to the other guys, edwin, segun, collins, hassan just to mention a few. To find out more info you can check http://www.howardabc.com/, if you can fly down from naija or jand, hey kudos to you but it is going to be off the chain, ill advise jand peeps to emulate what africans are doing here in america. i think its even going to be a huge success in jand just becos jand is second home base to naijas. well enuff of that said. Alongside the conference there is going to be a fashion show, and am proud to say that my friend graced the front cover. This fashion show is going to be one the best ever at Howard University, and fortunately for me, my inspiration and fashion role model Deola Sagoe is coming and other designers are coming as well. Once again kudos to Esther Sonariwo and other individuals behind the scene.

Ok so this is the month for lovers and also not to forget black history month, God knows that am definately going to roast, for like how many years, 19yrs, gosh!!!!Can i have sum useful guys in my life...mr anu boi aka ladiesman pls can u send sumthing to me...lol...
super bowl is around the corner and so is super tuesday, who is going to win the democratic election, obama or clinton?? I definitely vote for OBama
I also dint know that Hulk Hogan and his wife are having a divorce this is painful. I mean if you are celebrity and a married couple never ever do a reality show... like this is 100th couple that have broken up due to reality show, for instance jessica simpson and her boo, the barkers, just to mention a few, now america;s favorite family, the Hogans.
So wat am i going to do this weekend, i actually have no clue, getting ready for the fashion show tho at HU and also spring break..gosh i need a break.
I also have a sudden love for Prison Break, i mean it was there but this is harder and tougher than i thot...gosh Wentworth Miller is soooo sexyyyyyyyyyy, like i dream of me and him together, ill advise you lot to watch PB(Prison Break) its off the chain.
You all know that i cant write without talking about Britney, i actually like her album tho, Well shes finally gone to Psych ward for testing to see if shes alright, and does not commit suicide
Our famous Wesley Snipes might face jail time due to his tax fraud, he was originally looking at 10years but they might cut it down to 3yrs

Has anyone noticed that Kanye West has been on the downlow since his mother's death...i feel soo sorry for him.
Cant wait to watch Ghana versus Nigeria, I just have this feeling that the blackstars of Ghana are really going to be stars on sunday..i mean i still have faith in supereagles.
What do u think of having a career fair in lagos, i mean where companies go to school to recruit students, you turn in your resume/cv..well im think of doing one, me and a couple of others. I mean i know there are a couple of events like student trade fair and first fridays but i think a real career fair with job opportunities will be great.
I also love Ikechukwus new video "wind am well"...like i said before naijas are really stepping up with the quality of our videos.
I also came across sumthing that rarely happens in nigeria. A student committed suicide because she failed JAMB...wat would drive sumone to kill themselves because of JAMB..gudness, we watch too much american tv and are adapting to the american negativity, i mean check out the videos now, our parents wont approve of this...oh well all i can do it nag.
And yeah before i end.. WHO remembers Regina Askia..well her daughter is absoultely gorgeous, her name is Stephanie Honecker, and shes signed up with freaking Elite Modelling agency, the agency that signs up the winner for Americas Next Top Model..wow, kudo stephanie and Regina, i think your daughter is absolutely gorgeous

My gudness Heath is dead..when i heard i was more than devasted. How could he die? What went wrong? People are speculating that he either committed suicide or sumone killed him or he was sick....my baby, this is one man i wanted to meet. You know how you have a list of people you would like to meet before they die, he was one of them. This is painful. He was only 28years of age.

Well i know i have been off for a while and thats because i have been really thinking hard, been depressed, and just a whole bunch of stuff has been on mind, regardless, i went to the movies to watch Mad Money with my sexy stylish french gabonese friend, Sephora. I think it was ok, i mean amovie has to match up to the hype, i think the hype was too much...lol, it was fun, and exciting. Met my frenchie on the metro and shes totally cool,and although shes just learning english, we clicked moreover im so interested in learning french, so hey!!we benefit from each other.... heres our picture even tho i think it is disastrous.
The next fashion trend is called Hippie revival...well am guessing they are trying to revive fashion from back in the early 80s
The Style tribe is another trend in fashion...I think the reason for its name is because most of the designs look like things from a tribe in africa or sum other country, thats my opinion tho...
The next trend is boy meets girl...i think nowadays girls are dressing up as guys especially in the work place to show sum sort of authority...basically looking sharp and also making a dress statement "women cannot be toyed with"

lastly i believe i have said this before, naija videos are too madddd...just came across amplfyd's trailer for their video "wetin man go do" i think its was off the chain..this is one of the very few things they have done and im actually acknowleging them because honestly i dont think their songs are that great...basically i dont think they can sing and thats why their album dint really sell...can sumone say freedom of speech!!!
On the other hand i was reading HOTICE's BLOG, one of my favorite blogs and i read about a dude disturbing her on the metro/train..thats funny cos i had a similar experience too. I was readin a french book on the train and then this french guy from em either Gabon or sumwhere sha approached me...initially i thot he was cool, we got chatting and we kinda clicked tho.....gave him my number and before i culd say yahooze he rang me up. The most annoying part after was that he called me like 15times that night...lol i was like wtf. and then when i finally picked up he asked if i wanted to hang out with him that night with his friend. I was like hell no, ok not like that tho but i was like em am kinda tired which was true, told him that tomrrow wud be fine.
The next day omg..it was terrible...lol like he called me like 40times...lol and then i finally got to pick up the fone, and then he asked me if i wanted to come over to his house...that was just a huge turn of for me, and the guy wasnt even that cute i mean...to me he seemed like a PERVERT, oh well i decided to tell him that we cud go to the movies...after i dropped the call, i instantly stored his name as "Mohammed, do not PICK up"...lol Gosh wat a lad..lol

If you looks in every store, arden B, Gucci, and BCBG, you'll see most of the dresses especially the neck lining are inspired by the egyptians or the bible.

Yeah! onto some Entertainment news....my DANITY KANE is BACK....diddy is back with making the band 4, i think this is going to be the hottest season ever because making the band 3 boiz, plus donnie, and danity kane themselves are going to be in the house together struggling to release their album.I totally kow there will be sum flirting going on, fights and other sizzling things.
