And America's Next top Model is?????

America's Next top model (ANTM) is a reality show created and hosted by former supermodel Tyra Banks.

Each season of America's Next Top Model has from 9-13 episodes and starts with 10-14 contestants. Each episode, one contestant is eliminated, though in rare cases a double elimination or no elimination was given by consensus of the judging panel. Makeovers are administered to contestants early in the season and a trip to an international destination is scheduled. This is one show to NEVER miss.

As we all know about our very own Nigerias Next Top Model!!! I think it is sizzling hottt, the whole concept, the design of the clothes and everything is just unique..

This season of ANTM had a Howard Student...HU!!! U know...(Go Bison!!!!!!), and although she did not win i felt she did herself and the school proud.


The winner, however, totally deserved to win. She can pose to be edgy, beautiful, fierce, commercial and even high end fashion.

Giving back to our society...

Alot of organizations have been springing up, some for popularity purposes, some as "Egunje" as yoruba people will call it and a few because they are genuine; it comes from their hearts, they have a PASSION in wanting to give back to the society!!!!! However, whether they set up organizations for the reasons above, it still boils down to one main fact which is they are reaching out and helping the society. SADD(Student Against Destructive Decision) by the Ayodele Sisters, Catwalk the World Fashion for the Food by Matthew Mensah, Obaro Ibru and Femi Amure, GEDE foundation by Mrs Jennifer Atiku, have really reached out to the Nigerian society and Africa at large.

SADD founded by the Tola and Tobi Ayodele is aimed to provide the students with the best prevention and intervention tools possible to deal with the issues of underage drinking, smoking, other drug use, impaired driving and other destructive decisions, and also to empower young people to live a healthy lifestyle and to make healthy responsible live choices.(http://www.saddnigeria-ng.org/). They are both adorable sisters, hardworking and also very pretty.


CatWALK the World brings together the worlds of fashion and food by organizing high profile fashion shows to create awareness while raising funds to fight child hunger. It was launched in Lagos, Nigeria in April 2006, and was met with extraordinary success. Extravagant, elegant and passionate, Catwalk the World- Nigeria brought the issue of child hunger to the social, cultural, economic, and political elite of Lagos. Their future goal is to cut in half the number of hunger children in the world by 2015.(http://www.fighthunger.org/catwalk), they actually won the Humanitarian award in Paris.

Mr Capable!!! Well i am very sure most of you know who he is, but for those who dont know him, he is no other than Mr Banky Wellington. He is one of the hottest and sexiest Nigerian Musicians i know. Yankee Sturvs VS Janded Sturvs

No need to put your boxing gloves on..........we are just here to voice our opinions on the janded nigerians VS the yankerized nigerians.


ON STYLE: Janded people win this round. The way the Yankee people dress is immature. They wear oversize clothes and are not that concerned about fashion. The concerned ones are referred to as metrosexual and sometimes gay. If that was a true definition of gay, then every guy in jand would be gay. they take out time to look good, They are concerned with how they look and its impressive.

ON HAVING FUN: Yankee people win this round. Have you ever been to a jand party? Every one is popping moet and trying to look the best. Trying to strut their stuff and all. Ever been to a Yankee party??.....the difference is clear, the people are there to dance and have fun. After all, if they just wanted to listen to music and pop moet, they could do that at home.

ON SPORTS: Janded people win. Every janded person has their team and are dedicated for life. Yankee people could care less (not that they dont care, so dont bite my head off)........Hands down on sport dedication, Janded people win.

ON MUSIC: Yankee people win. yep, we have janded artist coming into the yankee industry but still the majority of music people listen to is the yankerized one. If you ask anyone (including the janded people) to name 5 artists they love the most, i bet you at least 4 of them will be yankee artists.

ON FINER GUYS: Janded people win this (feel free to bite my head off), but this is my opinion. They are fresher and all. Yankee boys are not bad though but u know we have to pick one side and majority of the fine naija guys are in JAND.

ON FINER GIRLS: Yankee girls win. (opinions are allowed). Janded babes use a whole lot of makeup, its ridiculous. Jand babes are pretty but Yankee has finer naija babes. No hating.

Writing!!! what a relief

I am so new to this blog thingie and i am pretty much excited about it. Ok i exaggerated just a bit. I am not soo new to it, was introduced to this blog spot by my genius sister, tosin a while back like in 2004 but i just thot it was one of her nice ways of saying that there were better things on the internet rather than facebook or Hi5. So i just didnt bother to join. BUt now i just find it very interesting and I couldnt help but create my own blog page and even start writing which i find very relieving. I remember then when hi5 was the "in thing" now everyone is facebooking. Thats cool tho because you can find almost everyone on that damn site.Just got out from my exam which was ok although i thought that it would be great. Dont really like when the semster is coming to an end because the whole world just feels like it is crumbling. I really dont like school but at the same time i just like it so much here at(HU). I have this love-hate thing going on here with school. I really dont want to bore you all with school so i will just switch topics. Well I came up with this idea of starting up a fashion magazine like a while in 2004 and i started bloging with the username http://magnolia-mag.blogspot.com/ however i could not remember my password (i know kinda boring). The name has recently changed from Magnolia to Fausset which i think is more classy, catchy and frenchy. It actually brings out the fashion in the magazine. I hope everything works out great and ends up being a great success!!! especially with all this upcoming magazines and competition, i hope it really works out. One magazine i would really give kudos to is the Haute Magazine(http://www.fashionnigeria.com/)......... I actually think their magazine is very unique and brings this feel of youthfulness to everyone. However the Fausset team will bring out more so i am imploring everyone to watch out.!!!:)
